Home Renovation and Design Show Returns to A&E September 12, Part of the Network’s Lifestyle Programming Block
LOS ANGELES – (August 14, 2026) – Real estate broker and home design expert Konya Hendricks Schuh returns to television this fall when lifestyle and home renovation series Betting on Beloit premieres its second season, Saturday, September 12. Back-to-back episodes air at 12:00pm & 12:30pm (ET) / 11:00am & 11:30am (CT) on A&E’s lifestyle programming block, Home.Made.Nation. Episodes will also be available the next day on A&E’s website and on demand.
Betting on Beloit follows Konya, daughter of entrepreneur and philanthropist Diane Hendricks, America’s richest self-made woman (#1 on the Forbes “Richest Self-Made Women” list the last nine consecutive years) on her mission to revitalize Beloit, Wisconsin – one house and one block at a time.
A former industrial powerhouse where thousands once flocked to achieve the American dream, Beloit was hit hard in the 1990s as manufacturers moved jobs overseas, forcing many residents to find opportunity elsewhere and accelerating the community’s decline (so much so that USA Today once ranked Beloit as Wisconsin’s “worst city to live in”). While season one saw Konya and her dynamic team transform neglected, historic homes into dream residences that could attract and welcome new individuals and families to the city, season two tracks the growing pains of success as they take on more ambitious renovations in Beloit’s storied, tradition-rich neighborhoods.
Konya is thrilled to see that a number of her renovated, season-one homes have sold (and at record price points for Beloit) but some remain on the market, increasing the pressure she feels to prove to her mom Diane, the financial backer of the revitalization effort, that she can deliver on their shared vision to continue restoring Beloit. With her reputation building for creating stunners, Konya raises the bar, tackling larger properties – including her biggest and most challenging home yet, to be priced at a precedent-setting $1 million – and entering into a bidding war as she tries to acquire a gem up for auction. At the same time, the entire team dedicates themselves to a special DIY renovation, in partnership with nonprofit Acts Housing, a first-time homebuyer program focused on expanding homeownership for low to moderate income families in Beloit.
With their talent, passion and Midwestern spirit, Konya and her team are more committed than ever to rebuilding their community. Alongside Konya are her husband Matt (a plumbing contractor and former home builder), project manager Pete, realtor nephew Connor, and her designer friends Kristin and Mitch. It’s also a family affair this season with Konya’s son Aidan and daughter Addison pitching in with additional sweat equity and support, as well as Diane, whose decades of experience in the building supply and real estate industries remain a vital resource for Konya. Will these new homes sell at their intended value and attract new people to Beloit, or will the market dictate a different outcome? It’s a bet they’re all hoping pays big for Beloit.
